Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

Layr Technology (“Layr”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through layr.technology, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

Layr Technology is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at team@layr.technology for any privacy question or request.

What data we collect

  • Contact form — name, email address, and message content, submitted voluntarily when you reach out to us.
  • Checkout — if you complete a pledge or payment, your card and billing details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
  • Analytics cookies — with your consent, Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data (pages visited, device type, general location) to help us understand how the site is used.

Why we process it

We process this data to respond to your enquiries (legitimate interest), to fulfil a payment you initiate (contract), and to understand site usage (consent, for analytics cookies only). We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the site to function, and — only with your consent — analytics cookies from Google Analytics. You can accept or decline analytics cookies from the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage for this site.

Who we share data with

We share data with the processors that help us run the site: Resend (transactional email), Stripe (payment processing), and Google Analytics (usage analytics, only after consent). Each acts under its own privacy policy and data processing terms, and some may process data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Payment records are retained by Stripe per legal and accounting requirements. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to request portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email team@layr.technology. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
